Common Questions

How do I schedule a session?

Please fill out the Contact Form at the bottom of our homepage, call the business line at (980) 284-6595 or e-mail us at cultivatingclaritytogether@gmail.com to discuss appointment availability and schedule your appointment. If you are an existing client, please log in to your Client Portal to view availability and schedule an appointment. 

How much is therapy?

Sessions are $150 per 50 minute session. Sliding Scale rates are available financially eligible clients.  If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged a cancellation fee of $100.

Does insurance cover therapy?

I am in network with Cigna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Aetna, Oxford, United Healthcare and Oscar Health. Before your first appointment, you will need to create a profile through my billing company, Headway. Once a profile is created you will be able to verify your insurance benefits. Your co-pay is collected after completion of each session. If you do not have Cigna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Aetna, Oxford, United Healthcare or Oscar Health, I might be considered an out-of-network provider on your insurance policy.

To find out what your insurance may cover, contact your insurance and ask if you have out-of-network mental health coverage. You may also want to mention the type of license that I have to ensure services with my type of credential are covered.

 

Other things you may want to ask about are:

  • What your deductible is

  • What your co-insurance payment will be

  • How many visits you get per year

  • If you need authorization for your visits

  • Details on how to submit a superbill

What is Headway?

We use Headway to manage billing and admin work so the focus can be on our work together. Headway manages everything related to payments and insurance to make things as easy as possible for you. Once you have made the decision to schedule an appointment, we will have Headway send you an email to help you set up your client portal. You will be able to add your insurance and payment details and check your benefits/copay prior to your session. Headway will provide you with invoices after each session (you can also download these later from your portal!).
